z	zib Ja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 飯本身味道不錯，吃起來不會太油膩，肉的肉質很嫩，不會太柴，但是份量堪憂，肉少的程度讓我以為有一半的火雞被抓去隔離了。油豆腐很入味，但是只有一塊，魯丸味道也很好，也很入味，總體來說除了提前體會到通貨膨脹以外，經驗還算不錯。湯的味道偏清淡，不算出色，但是中規中矩。 The rice itself tasted good, not too greasy, and the meat was tender and not too mushy, but the portion was worrying, and the meat was so small that I thought half of the turkey was caught and quarantined. When I was a kid and grew up in my hometown in Medan, Indonesia, there was this noodle with chicken oil that was so fragrant. My grandmother knew I love it and bought it for my lunch every single day. After her passing the food is literally what I could think of her, even after I've moved away so far from my hometown. Due to living abroad for a long time, this dish had been a distance memory. I first tried Wansheng turkey rice when I first visited Taiwan. The instance I tasted the fragrant chicken oil in the flavorfully braised tender chicken meat, I knew for sure the flavor is uncanny if not identical to the noodle my grandma used to buy me when I was a kid and whenever I visited her. It may be a coincidence, but coming in Taiwan, I had always felt the presence of my grandmother, either her warmth in Taiwanese people, her kindness in the country, and her undying unconditional love through the food that I've tried here. Jin Wang Sheng is one of the places that helps me remember the flavor of my hometown and my grandma's loving embrace. If I could give it a 6 star, I would, though, why should I?
