★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soup is clear on arrival，perhaps 1/3 of meat almost rear. But with the hot soup, it basically is still cooking when served. Soup turns slight cloudy as meat cooks through.
What an aesthetic experience!!!
Food served in heavy chinaware, and to see the pink meat change color.
I thought the soup base has subtle corn flavour to it, very natural sweetness.
Total 110NT.
I had this for breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tainan is famous for beef soup. When it comes to late snack, many people recommend BEEF SOUP. Usually beef soup restaurant opens late, closes late. Some of them even open till morning.
The fresh cuts of beef never frozen. They just put raw beef in the bowl, use boil soup to make it ready to eat.
This one is the best one since I've been eating beef soup in this trip. The beef is very tender and juicy, and the soup is light but flavorful.

The soup is very refreshing. Rice is not too sticky but chewy. We queued about 10 minutes. Still acceptable.
The quality of beef is above standard. Texture wise is still quite tender.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered their signature beef soup, stir fried cabbage and beef, and tripe stir fry with Vinegar
The stir fried food were overly salty, could hardly taste the fragrance of the beef. Felt like their dishes were swimming in a pool of sauces without any focus on the cold bodied beef itself. Beef soup was forgettable, again, overly salty not showcasing the beef's true flavor.
Location is on one of the most popular snack (小吃) street, hence it gets the higher foot traffic as well as commands a higher price. The place is a hole in the wall and only takes cash, no English menu so you will need to know what to order up front.
