★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great! The food flavours in Tainan are generally sweeter than I am used to , but that doesn't affect how tasty it was. The ginger added to the flavour, making it a really good comfort food on a cool day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cold raining night with a steaming hot bowl of local fishball potage. Nicely frangrant soup base. Fresh ginger thrown in to take away any fishy odours and adds a nice crunch and hit of ginger in each bite. Drizzle a generous amount of dark vinegar heightens the sweetness of each bite into these lovely fishballs. Total bliss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Tainan speciality of fish thick soup. 60NT is a bit steep compared to Lu Mian type but that's still just $2USD. It's nice and light and sweet. You can get rice noodles plus noodles mix.
