★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 從這裡走進去就是孔廟了，大成坊是孔子廟中三處以「大成」為命名的空間之一，分東西兩座。大成的稱呼出自《孟子萬章下》：「孔子之謂集大成也」。意思是孔子整理三代至周公的學問並刪詩書、訂禮樂。贊周易、修春秋，所以是集大成的學者，也因而以大成為建築命名最能彰顯孔子廟之特質。
Walking in from here is the Confucian Temple. Dachengfang is one of the three spaces named "Dacheng" in the Confucian Temple. It is divided into two parts: the east and the west. The title of Dacheng comes from "Mencius Wanzhangxia": "Confucius is called Ji Dacheng." It means that Confucius sorted out the knowledge of the three generations to Zhou Gong, deleted poems and books, and ordered rituals and music. Praising Zhouyi and Xiu Chunqiu, so he is a scholar of mastery, and therefore the name of Dacheng building can best demonstrate the characteristics of the Confucian Temple.
