Sweet ladies at the counter. This rice was perfectly cooked and the sauce also a balanced savory. The rest of the composition was fair, dried pork, normal pork, cucumber. Tiny dish.

The three combination pickled cucumber, minced pork, and meat floss on top create a perfect fusion of authentic rice cake. It tastes little sweet, and the cooked peanut adds more flavor for the common staple of Tainan people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 of the few stalls we returned to eat on encore food day, for the 米糕. Glutinous rice with the perfect balance of oil and umami, and at an unbeatable price. Try this then try 阿霞飯店's 紅蟳米糕, you'll know what I'm talking about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the local 米糕in Tainan, which is also a must-try. It’s just next to 永樂牛肉湯, so you can just take both of them for yourself as a great set of meal.
Having 米糕 as breakfast is also something common in Tainan. Maybe next time when you’re planning to come here, try some and perhaps regard yourself as a local. lol
