★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This market is awesome, got my favourite blood cake and oily rice, just unfortunately that there is no spot for you to sit down and eat. Avoid going there on a raininy day as most walkway (騎樓) in Tainan have roadblock in place, forcing you to get wet and risk your life sharing road with scooters. Oh, and this place is also heaven for people who loves rice sauage and pig trotter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the largest traditional wet market at Tainan east district. Only available during day time (roughly until 2 pm). Overflow local food choices and a great place to experience local life. Come here with empty stomach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vivid market. Not that well organized but u can feel the living energy flowing around. Food from cheap to average good quality are the mostly seem here. Also has some daily goods and clothing shop. It has a large amount of fruit shop and stands. Probably the most concentrated one in the city. Lots of fun to visit.
