★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lively little night market! Less crowded these days. I enjoy tea, scallion pancakes, fried dough, fruit cups and desserts they sell at the xiaobei night market. It is close to a Poya, PXmart, baking supply store and stationery store. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're going to check out a night market for the first time, this one is probably only average. It's really just a place to grab an evening snack, outdoors. I was after BBQ corn on the cob. I wound up also having a traditional flat pancake, and then some pudding-filled small baked cakes (they were pretty cheap). The candied tomatoes on a stick looked tempting. I also found a "Taiwan" hat in a pile of hats, and a pocket watch, neither of which I would have imagined buying when I went in looked for the corn.
