"Minhang Society" is an organization created by the Japanese Army General. The name comes from "The Book of Songs, National Wind, Qin Feng, No Clothes": "Wang Yuxing, repairing my armor, and walking with the son." Supporting the meaning, Minhang Society is a gathering and social place for the Army to cultivate, relatives, and ceremonial activities. It functions like today's National Army Hero Hall.
Tainan Minhang Society was established in the 32nd year of Meiji (1899). The original site was located in Yongfu Road, Tainan City. It was rebuilt in the 19th year of Dazheng (1915) and is now located at No. 21, South Park Road. It is currently known as the 9th Minhang Society in Taiwan during the Japanese occupation. The second largest in size, second only to Taipei Minhang. It was built more than a hundred years ago and was used as a national army after the war. In 2007, it was registered as a historic building.
The original hinterland of Tainan Minhang Society was vast, but after the war, it experienced land division and change. At present, most of the surrounding areas are covered by private houses, which increases the difficulty of investigation. The project was commissioned by the National Kaohsiung University to clarify the original features of the building by means of aerial photography, architectural surveying, and literature research, and thus found another adjacent building hidden in the lane, which was confirmed after comparing the historical data. One of the main bodies, Tainan Minhang Society is composed of three connected buildings.
According to the survey results, Tainan Minhang Club adopted the design of “Heaven and Mixed Wind” prevailing at the time. The first building is a two-storey wooden bone-rock building. The façade has exposed wooden structure, the exterior wall is made of mud-like construction methods and other European-style architectural elements. The window frame and window sash are made of wood. The original roof style is a half-cut slate roof. Beautiful shape, speculated to be mainly used as office space. The second building is an L-shaped wooden veneer building. The interior is made of a semi-circular ceiling. It is decorated with a line angle and is unique. It is speculated that it is mainly used as a meeting place during the Japanese occupation. The third building is a wooden structure. The original building is equipped with a two-story chimney. The interior is a traditional Japanese space configuration, and the complete bathroom and toilet compartment is reserved. It should provide living space for military personnel.
Through the understanding of the construction style, construction method and space function of the Minhang Society, witnessing the changes in the military history of the southern region during the Japanese occupation period to the back of the war, it will also provide considerable reference materials for future buildings mixed with other Japanese and foreign languages.
Tainan Minhang is a transportation hub, adjacent to the railway station and Tainan Park. There are Japanese cultural assets such as the Tainan Weiwei Hospital, the former Japanese Infantry Second Army official residence group, and the former Japanese Army Taiwan Infantry Second Joint Camp.

Now you can only see the outer periphery, but it is valuable in historic architecture. Now I am preventing first aid collapse. I hope it is restored and released. Right next to Tainan Park. Located in a shopping district.
