周氏蝦捲創始人周進根先生表示，早在五十年前他的父親就從事魚丸類小吃，周進根接手後就在觀音亭旁賣起自助餐，而蝦捲便是其中一道菜，由於蝦仁料好實在，風味又獨特，許多食客專點蝦捲吃，所以便改為專賣蝦捲。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's quite cheap, approximately NTD 300 for 7 dishes. But I won't recommend it, if you're a tourist craving for delicious or high quality food. There were bone or something in the prawn roll and fish ball we ordered ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shrimp rolls. Fish sausage. Kimchi. All good although the kimchi was a little softer than I like but the flavor was good. It gets crowded but they have a good service pace almost like a fast food place. Solid overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had one portion of fried prawn roll, braised egg and a fish and prawn ball combo soup. The fish-prawn ball soup was my favorite. And maybe fish balls were top of my list.
The prawn roll was nice, filling is well seasoned, but I thought the skin could be slight saltier. There's sauces on the side to choose from.
Nice stop after visiting Anping Fort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oyster omelet is one of must-try street food in Taiwan, but fried shrimp rolls is what it famous for. The restaurant has been here for 55 years. It does good simple taiwanese snacks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fried shrimp rolls are very tasteful. Beyond my expectations for a “fried dish”, which normally all tastes the same. Also nice assortment of complementary sauces, especially the wasabi one! No one paste, but an actual sauce. Def recommend this place.
