周邊景色很美,海底隧像恐怖片場景。
The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the underwater tunnel looks like a horror movie scene.

台南運河旁的小建築物,早期安平海關所在,內有文物展示,來訪安平可順路參觀。
The small building beside the Tainan Canal, where the Anping Customs was in the early days, has cultural relics on display. You can visit Anping along the way.

可能是疫情的關係,館內現在沒有營業,旁邊有一個運河隧道,後面有腳踏車步道,可以欣賞運河的美景
It may be due to the epidemic. The museum is currently closed. There is a canal tunnel next to it and a bicycle trail behind it, so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the canal.

If you want to have a relaxing walk and have a hint about a part of Tainese history, this is the right place.

The older place name of Tayouan derives from the ethnonym of a nearby Taiwanese aboriginal tribe, and was written by the Dutch and Portuguese variously as Taiouwang, Tayowan, etc.[3] In his translations of Dutch records, missionary William Campbell used the variant Tayouan and wrote that Taoan and Taiwan also occur.[4] As Dutch spelling varied greatly at the time (see History of Dutch orthography), other variants may be seen.[5] The name was also transliterated into Chinese characters variously as 臺窩灣, 大灣, 臺員, 大員, 大圓 and 梯窩灣.[3] After the Dutch were ousted c. 1661 by Koxinga, Han immigrants renamed the area "Anping" after the Anping Bridge in Quanzhou, Fujian. Soon after Qing rule was established in 1683, the name "Taiwan" (臺灣) was officially used to refer to the whole island with the establishment of Taiwan Prefecture.
