白糖粿對我這個平常習慣喝無糖飲料的大叔來說，確實是蠻甜，好在份量小，跟靈魂伴侶一人一半剛好，不會膩。
甘薯踫吃的時候要小心，老闆娘會熱心幫你重炸但一整個很燙，若太擔心一口咬下去，可能芝麻餡會從另一端溢出來，那就傷心惹（我就是這樣），哈。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first taste of the local snacks: Fried Sweet Mochi ( 白糖粿, the white one) and Fried Sweet Potato (番薯椪, the yellow one). Legendarily they were offerings to the Seven Star Goddess on her birthday, also known as the Chinese Valentine's Day in lunar July.
