★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a place to miss. There was nothing going on here, quite disappointing. There was one guy pushing some salt mounds about showing a small handful of kids. Pretty sad overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in March and there was absolutely nothing to see here. It was like a ghost town with paper flying everywhere and just 1-2 people catching pokemon on their scooters. If there was an office somewhere inviting tourists, then I totally did not find it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is pretty interesting and worth a visit, but don't expect it to be exciting. There's a whale museum..."yay". Actually the skeleton is from a whale that got beached up north somewhere, in the late '90s. They put it on a flatbed trailer to take it to the university to study. In town, it exploded, spewing guts everywhere. I passed through the area a few hours later. It had been cleaned up, but I thought "What is that smell?" This place is good for adults who are interested in history or whales/biology. Nothing for children here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad. The buildings were old dorms for salt-collecting labors.
It would be fun to try their DIY craft and experience traditional salt-collecting. Good for school kids. Adult groups might like it because it's fun to take some interesting photos.
