金唐閣在粧佛雕刻界屬於新的門派，於光復後期所創立的流派。
技法流派：閣派
近年來，金唐閣更極力將花磚(獨特的台灣色彩)融合於建築上。這類型的花磚在台灣的興盛期極短，大約只有15~20年（1920~1935），當時台灣仍為日治時代，幾乎所有的彩瓷花磚都是仰賴日本進口，而我們也可從目前現有的傳統建築中找出一些花磚的蹤跡，有些是放在屋頂做裝飾、有些則是鑲坎在牆面上，在金門還可看到大面積的花磚拼貼裝飾。
