The Lord of Yanxing Tianhou Palace worships the Mother of Heaven, originally from the Tianhou Temple of Tianhou Temple, Zhaiweigang, Wudingli Prefecture, during the colonization period of the Qing Dynasty. Zhou Zaiwei, formerly the Taiwan River Inner Seaport and Macao, and Luermen, Chihkan, Taiwanese, etc. are mutually exclusive, and it is the earliest developed area in Taiwan. In the first year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Zheng Jing led his army through Luermen and landed from Zhouzaiwei. Later, Zheng Jing built a villa in Zhouzaiwei. His beloved general Chen Yonghua also built a garden in Zhouzaiwei (the area east of Carrefour to the Zongguan Railway), and Respectfully welcome the statue of Mazu god, enshrined in its garden. Until Ming Zheng was overthrown, the descendants of Chen Yonghua were repatriated inland, and the Mazu statue was still enshrined in the garden. In the 22nd year of Kangxi (1683), Taiwan was incorporated into the territory of the Qing Dynasty. Jiang Yuying, the first governor of Taiwan Province, believed that Zhou Zaiwei was suitable for opening up salt pans, so he opened up salt pans locally. The place was prosperous and religious beliefs also flourished. In the 35th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Tianhou Palace was built in Zhouzaiwei to worship the Mother of Heaven. There is a large bank in front of the temple, which is the key point for the north-south traffic, and there is no bridge on the ground. It is inconvenient to travel in the past. Later, the prefect Jiang Yunjun donated money to build a bridge and build a water gate. The port in front of the temple is a dock for ships to unload and unload goods. A place for trading, so it is known as the Port of Mazu Palace, which is also a gathering place and a center for residents' activities. In the old days, the Tianhou Temple was full of incense, and every time Mazu’s Christmas, believers would sail back to their hometown of Meizhou, Fujian’s Meizu ginseng ginseng by ships. Even foreign pilgrims came to contact and invite worshippers, and there was an endless stream. In the heyday of Tianhou Palace, there were Bazhuang and Sixteen Laos, which covered the districts of Annan District, Xigang, Chigu, and Jiali in Tainan City today. It can be described as a famous town in Nanying. In the 23rd year of Qianlong (1758), the Zhoubei Saltworks was destroyed by a storm, and the salt people had to move to other places to make a living. As a result, the Zhoubei Saltworks was abandoned; in the 53rd year of Qianlong (1788), the Zhounan Saltworks was washed away by floods and the salt banks collapsed. The salt fields were flooded, and the salt people dispersed again to make a living. In the 2nd year of Daoguang (1822), when storms and rain struck again, Zeng Wenxi collapsed and the mud accumulated, Taijiang became land, and gradually became desolate, Zhouzaiwei became a desolate panic village, and the original affiliated salt shop became the main village instead. The Tianhou Temple in Zhouzaiwei was declining due to the population of the villagers, and it fell into disrepair for a long time. In the second year of Tongzhi (1863), there was a major earthquake and the temple was destroyed and collapsed. The Tianhou Palace collapsed and there was nowhere to place the golden body of the Virgin Mary, so the golden statue of the Virgin Mary was transferred to the Emperor Yu Palace of Yanxing. In the late Japanese rule, under the tyranny of imperialism, the aunt Jinzun who was enshrined in Emperor Yu's palace was moved to the Erwang Temple and burned with the gods. Fortunately, the second mother of Kaiji was escorted by believers, and she was transferred to Biyun Temple in Guanzailing for deposit and worship. It was not until the restoration of Taiwan that the villagers invited them back from Biyun Temple, and they were enshrined by Zhouziwei, Yanxing, Dazhulin, Sankan Station and Sizhuangluo in turn. In the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), the senior citizens of Sizhuang decided to demolish the collapsed Tianhou Palace, and all the masonry and cash of the temple were collected and kept in Sizhuang. It was rebuilt in 1967 and was celebrated in 1968.
