桃源茶室設立於民國62年元月，也算是早期玉井、左鎮一帶較早開放的(特種)茶室。提供附近居民農忙結束後，娛樂的地方(喝喝茶、唱唱歌、聽聽那卡西、聊聊天〉所為偷得浮生半日閒，也是人生一大享受。
已前來上班的妹子還要領有牌照「女服務生證」，已婚者還得要丈夫過來店內簽同意書，經過分局、派出所同意，這個女服務生才能出來上班。
