 The Karasuyama Dam was built under the supervision of a Japanese, Yoichi Hatta. It is a nature-friendly dam hardened by non-concrete soil and resistant to earthquakes. Yoichi Hatta turned vast land into rich arable land and made many Taiwanese happy. I want you to come by all means.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大壩建立於民國十九年，係攔截曾文溪之支流官田溪，利用上游分歧之自然低窪谷地，匯成珊瑚狀水庫，為目前世界僅存之半水力沖淤式土石壩結構，堪稱國寶。水庫內處處皆美景，在藍天白雲的映襯下，盡攬水庫風光，愉悅心情油然而生。
The dam was established in the 19th year of the Republic of China. It intercepts the Guantian River, a tributary of Zengwen River, and uses the natural low-lying valleys of the upstream divergence to form a coral-like reservoir. It is currently the only semi-hydraulic silt-silting earth-rock dam structure in the world. It is a national treasure . There are beautiful scenery everywhere in the reservoir. Against the background of the blue sky and white clouds, you can enjoy the scenery of the reservoir, and a happy mood is born.

The dam stone embankment of Wushantou Reservoir is about 1.5 kilometers long. It is made up of large rocks and silt. The bottom is 300 meters wide and the highest is about 9 meters wide. It is a good place for walking or cycling. Lake and mountains can be admired on the stone embankment, and the landscape is very beautiful.
