The Kaiji Zilong Temple Yongchang Palace is located in Zilongli, Jiali Town, Tainan County. It enshrines Zhao Shengfu Tiandijun (namely the famous general of the Three Kingdoms Zhao Zilong), and enshrines Zhuge Wuhou, Xuantian God, Zhongtan Marshal, Our Lady of Heaven, God of Fortune, Annotate Empress, Tiandu Marshal, Black Tiger General, etc. In the 30th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1691), the villagers jointly decided to build a thatched cottage to worship the gods. It happened that a villager was fishing for fish in the stream near the village. He found a piece of camphor wood hovering in the stream and was driven into the stream many times. The camphor wood was picked up and found that the wood had been bitten by termites into the five-character "Changshan Zhaozilong". The villagers were amazed by the spectacle and felt that the gods intended to protect all living beings, so they built grass huts for worship. Sooner or later, burn incense and worship. In the 18th year of Qianlong (1753), the villagers saw the decline of the cottage, so they gathered local elders to raise funds to build a formal temple. The construction was completed in the 20th year of Qianlong. On auspicious October of the same year, Marshal Zhao's Mansion was invited to the temple to settle down. And because Zhao Yun was once canonized by Liu Bei as "Yongchang Pavilion", the temple was named "Yongchang Palace" or Zilong Temple. So far, the name of the original Dongshi Liaozhuang has also been officially changed to Zilong Temple. This is the only village in the province that has the ancient name "Zhao Zilong" as its place name. In 1978, due to the fact that the temple buildings had been showing signs of obsolescence for a long time, the believers of Zhuangzhuang gathered and discussed and decided to rebuild it and organized a reconstruction committee. At the beginning of the Republic of China, the rebuilding of the temple was completed. On February 13, the year of Yihai, Zhao Shengdi and the listed gods were invited to join the fire for worship. Its follow-up projects such as archway, fence, garden landscaping, beautiful greening of the environment, and temple paving were actively promoted. After ten years, all the projects were completed and became the temple today.
