★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 後壁下茄苳旌忠廟一九六一年推動重建時，人間國寶大木司阜許漢珍曾以鋼筋混凝土立柱構造結合木棟架屋頂之工法參與施作，而整座廟宇的彩繪，則幾乎都是出自國寶大師蔡草如之手，梁枋上還發現鮮少以魯班公為主題的畫作，傳達出蔡草如深厚的寫生素描功底及中國水墨基礎，其筆觸色調及造型紋路精緻傳神，充分傳達出人物的神韻，令人驚呼讚嘆！古廟新作仍舊值得一看，作為地區信仰中心，以及少數以武聖岳飛為主祀主神的廟宇，雖不專程也值得順道一遊！
