★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice nature scenery and the japan food is unexpectedly delicious there. Mud hot spring is good and comfortable. It is better to have day tour activity as nearby spots are quite far away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has private-room onsen which can be rented for 70 min. The hot water is a very thin "mud" (more like dirty water), which is cool. Some rooms have an outdoor cold water pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mud hot spring. It is said that the silty clay has some special medical effect on our skin. Apply the mud with the fingers on your face, neck, any other place you feel necessary. Let your skin to absorb the minerals in the clay. Then clean it. You will feel your skin touch more smoothly.
I personally enjoy the view from my tub. Really peaceful and calmed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We informed ourselves about room rates and were then kept from stepping 10 steps onto the terrasse to see beyond the lobby area. The poorly English speaking staff explained I was annoying her guests who are having breakfast and I should leave now. We did not see any guest at breakfast, nor anyone annoyed by our presence. My advice is to avoid this place. General rules of hospitality do not apply here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three days after, still have back and neck pain, because of mattress out of age. No chair in the room. No chair and no small table on the balcony to enjoy drinking a coffee. Room price is more expensive than 5 ? hotel in Taipei. No recommendations.
