★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 據廟中沿革所述，善主公乃前清福建漳州府人氏，俗名姓柳名善揚。於嘉慶年間奉命由府城台南率軍北上諸羅山剿匪平亂，途經店仔口（今白河）崁仔頭巷遭匪埋伏而犧牲，當地人感念其為國捐軀，故建廟奉祀。
According to the history of the temple, the Lord God of Goodness is the former Qingzhou Fujian Zhangzhou Mansion. His common name is Liu Mingshan. During the Jiaqing years, he was ordered by the capital city Tainan to lead troops north to Zhuluoshan to kill the bandits. He passed the Dianzikou (now Baihe) Taizitou Lane and was sacrificed by the bandits. The local people remembered that he had died for the country and built a temple to worship.
