During the day you'll find a rather big fruit and vegetable market, and a small but night market in the evening with different types of interesting food, including one of the best shawarmas. My only concern, and it's a serious one, is the constant incoming traffic. One bike after another just dashing through the street despite being full of people walking around, cars too, I spend more time in fear of being ran over than actually looking at food. There are tons of little streets around, can't we just agree to close down this one street for the evening so we can all enjoy the market?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you come during the day, it’s an outdoor produce market with vendors selling ready-to-way hot food items, fresh produce, clothing, and other household items. We buy fresh tofu and veggies here and check out low-cost clothing; there’s some gems if you look around.
Come back at night and it’s a bustling night market for the neighborhood. It’s less crowded than the established night markets on travel sights; the food is just as good. Eat your way through all of the local street foods!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! So much fresh food and groceries. Breakfast here is cheap and delicious, night market is lively and fun to explore. People are as friendly as you'd expect. Parking is cheap too. A must visit if you're in the Taipei area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great night Market area place with lots of local food and street eats. Gets really busy at night with motorcycles etc driving by to pick up food, lots of different options to choose from, feels more local style rather than touristy, which is something we like. Do check out this place for food if you're around the area, you'll not leave hungry and instead wish you had more stomach space.
