醫師診斷為單純性皰疹，一開始給予"健特膚"乳膏，然而該藥物仿單即明示不可用於單純性皰疹。再次詢問醫師，醫師更換藥物為"若蘭仙施"凝膠(治粉刺、青春痘)，亦不對症。
Google後發現單純性皰疹用藥無健保給付，或許診所內無對症藥物。即便如此，醫師應建議病患購買正確藥物而非隨意從庫存藥物中給藥。
