★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far my favorite bar in Kaohsiung! It's not a "party hard" bar, it's a nice bar with nice drinks (good wine, fancy cocktails, and lots of spirits), good music and the most important, a lovely staff.

But there are no elevators, so you’ll need to use the stairs (I stayed in 4th floor!). Also, the breakfast is in the form of voucher. U either redeem NTD100 in the bar below (opens at night) or a breakfast sandwich + milk tea (extremely delicious) from a shop 5 minutes away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely design at art room 401, great sunlight and nice deco, I love the space with huge sofa and low table, art work hung on partition separating bed and living room yet private and spacious enough. Very clean and tidy, worth to come back to try other rooms, a caution to those who can’t carry their own luggage though coz there’s no elevator. Close to 六合 night market is a super bonus. Bar is super nice with great proper food and cocktails, decent looking male bartenders are obviously doing great jobs except that they don’t seem to be able to handle the hospitality portion of guest services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to stop by here for a drink Saturday night to no success. When you arrive, they immediately ask if you have a reservation--no hello. The place was full and some people were milling around outside. With some seating adjustments, they could probably fit more people into the bar, or at least allow people to stand and sip a drink while waiting for a table to open up. This is just my suggestion to the management, if they want to make more money and have more happy customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy on Saturday night, best call in advance to book a spot. They have a nice online system to manage their bookings.
Service is lukewarm at best, they seemed to be very much in a hurry: they sat us, gave us a menu, and just as we opened the first page, they asked if we’re ready to order, then they proceeded to ask us to order every time they passed our table. Hubby’s drink came, but by the time my order came, we had nearly finished his. And as soon as I finished my last mouthful, they came by to collect the empty cups. I guess that’s how it is in busy bars. The drinks themselves were rather pleasant but forgettable.
