I have a problem with the cashier. I have bought the products in here many times. But the staffs didn't wanna solve the problem for me. Never get back anymore.

Tried the layered taro cake. The cake was mediocre. Taro filling was way too sweet. Overall, not great.

Really great pastries. The wife cakes and little egg cakes here have the perfect level of sweetness and filling ratio.

Wanted to get the taro cake that a local recommended but it came as a whole roll which is too much for me. Settled for the taro bomb which was a cream puff with generous taro cream and taro bits. Heavenly!

Take cake was ehh~ for its price(my friend says) . (Me)It has a very taro-y flavor though. Impressive . But to those who can’t stand much of that flavor the chocolate in the chocolate taro cake is pretty light

Worst experience ever, don’t fall for the promotion they offer! I tried to order a taro cake online and pickup in the store, the website suggests to call first in case the product run out so I did, the hotline told me it’s doable even for a next day delivery, given it’s their popular cake and always on the shelf, but when I brought up that I want to use the coupon they gave me a month ago, I was transferred to another staff and she refused to let me use it and insisted that I need to wait a week. The second staff insisted that all online order takes 1 week, even though I told her when I got the coupon the staff in the store suggested me to just order online and pickup the item later, didn’t mention I need to wait that long. Who will wait a week for a self-pickup, especially when it’s a product that always available in store? It seems that they just don’t want to honor the promotion they set up in the first place. My family is a loyal customer to this store for over 20 years and I’ve recommended them to many friends of mine even with some bulk orders. After this, I will not buy in this store ever and will tell all my friends to do the same.

Taro roll cake ($250) was nothing too special. Texture is soft yet dense and taro filling was sweet. Their taro puff was amazing though ($50)! The outside looks dry but the puff is indeed very flaky, and crunchy, perfectly balanced with the moist and very flavorful taro filling on the inside. If you come, skip the cake and buy a couple taro puffs. You won't regret it!
