Pesto spaghetti is amazing!

The food is alright, similar to other vegetarian restaurant in Kaohsiung. The biggest issue is that the English name of the restaurant is Vegan Hai while most of the dishes are ovo-lacto vegetarian. When prompted about this they said that "everyone has a different idea of what means to be vegan".

I was very excited to try this place. However the service was bad, and I’ve been a server before so I know it’s hard, this is the first time in my life writing a bad review, but the way they handled this blew my mind. We order 2 burgers, one vegan and one non vegan. They brought one first without specifying what it was, as the server didn’t say anything and we saw cheese on it we assumed it wasn’t vegan. My friend started eating. The second one came, also with cheese. I reminded them one was supposed to be vegan, so she replied by saying she will take the cheese off? What? The cheese is already melted into the burger, what if someone is allergic? This was the first red flag but I really don’t like complaining so I said ok no problem. She came back with the same burger and said the first burger (the one my friend was halfway through eating) was the vegan one....... and gave us the non vegan one back. So now what? She said nothing or resolved nothing. I said the previous server didn’t specify which was which. Eventually she just said “so.... is that ok?” And left. I payed 420$ for a halfway eaten burger. I give 2 stars because regardless it was tasty but I was so dissatisfied.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant in Kaohsiung!

This place is amazing! A true gem. All vegetarian. Lots of delicious food. They now have the Beyond Meat burger: huge! and really good! Incredible style. Really nice, friendly people. Would highly recommend for a nice meal.

I quite surprised with vegetarian spaghetti could be taste so good! Btw I am not veggie! The only thing is a place for kid so you can not avoid the noisy! I think staff is good and effectively clean up our table! Well done!
