C	Cool So Cool on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hofbräu in Kao Hsiung are mostly for vegetarians and served early in the morning. They usually do not have names and are hard to find if you are not familiar with the neighborhood. This Hofbräu does serve meat, have a name, and can be found on Google Map. There is no standard on how they come up with the price you need to pay. Rule of thumb is it is cheaper to get more in one item than small quantity on each of multiple items. Soup and sweet ice tea are freebies, but they do charge rice for 10NTD. Plenty of items you can choose from. Taste is average. Price varies but adjustable once you know how.

Hundreds of locals stream thru everyday at meal time, mostly takeout but plenty dine in on 1st or 2nd level. You fill your own plate with any of their 60+ dishes. Average plate goes from NT$60 (mostly veggies) to NT$150 (whole fish +meat dishes), the cashier eye-balls your plate to name the price, I know it's crazy but KHH'ers are very decent and fair folks. With eateries like this, it's cheaper to dine out than cooking at home, they have simply no competition when it comes to selection, variety n value.
