After fifty-six years later, he became the mother church and set up a preaching station in Yanchengpu, Kaohsiung City. Later, it gradually developed into the current Kaohsiung Salt Yan Church. The opening ceremony of the teaching ceremony at 10 am on February 18, 1923 was the birth of the Yancheng Church. At that time, it was a preaching station named "Fengshan Christian Church Kaohsiung Lecture Office". On the same day, the Tainan Theological Seminary, the teacher of the Tainan Theological Seminary, and the pastor of Man Xiongcai presided over the service. The original believers had nine and the party had 37. On July 4, 1926, he moved to No. 118 Xinxing Street, Yancheng District, and set about building a ministry. The ceremony was held on May 30, 1930, and was promoted to the church in March 1931. The name was "Kaohsiung Christian Church in Kitano-cho, Kaohsiung City". At the end of the Second World War, the population of Kaohsiung City surged, and the old hall of Kitanomachi was too narrow. The old site was relocated and the original old church was purchased by the Gospel. In April 1951, the church was completed at the current site and renamed the "Salt of Christ the Presbyterian Church." On March 4, 1951, the church was set up in the Sanmin District, the current Sanmin Church. In July 1954, a kindergarten was set up to serve the community. On March 23, 1956, the drum church was set up in response to the 100th anniversary of Taiwan's teaching. The Zhongshan Church was opened in December 1970. In July 1975, the Yanguang Savings Mutual Aid Society was established. In July 1977, the fifth floor education hall was built. In September 1984, the Yan Shuguang Early Childhood Education Center was established. In 1995, the Mission Building was built. In October 1996, Songnian University was opened. In February 1999, the Ruihua Church was opened in the Gangshan New Community.
