109年8月底前免費參觀，但還是要預約拿票，遺址入口處旁現在在施工，好像在蓋鼓山警分局辦公室的樣子，遊客要注意安全。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 歷經不同世代的歷史景點，從日治時期的防空洞，到國民政府來臺後，交由警備總部使用(戒嚴時期)，解嚴之後交由高雄市警察局管理，作為防空避難所使用。入口處的山坡有座碉堡。走入鼓山洞 ，彷彿進入時空隧道，看著斑駁的牆壁，感受軍事遺址的歷史氛圍，近距離欣賞鐘乳石之美。
Historical attractions that have gone through different generations, from the air-raid shelters during the Japanese Occupation period, to the National Government's arrival in Taiwan, were handed over to the Security Headquarters (during martial law), and then handed over to the Kaohsiung City Police Department to manage them as air defense shelters. There is a bunker on the hillside at the entrance. Walking into Gushan Cave is like entering a space-time tunnel, looking at the mottled walls, feeling the historical atmosphere of military ruins, and admiring the beauty of stalactites up close.
