★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good day for a family trip, but a lil tired for the children ( the parents too). We chooses the booth trip, so when you arrive to the top, a very nice guy is waiting for you, let you drink his Taiwanese tea! So wonderful! We even got the chance to see 3 monkey babies ^_^

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the top of of a pleasant hike, you'll find this pavilion with a makeshift gym and a cantina with fresh water and hot ginger tea. It's a nice reward for your effort. There are also picnic tables, but be careful of your food. The resident macaques are very sly. Enjoy the view of the ocean from the pavilion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a hike if you're not in the best shape as I am, about equivalent stairs as climbing an 80 story building, then back down. Boardwalk part of the way then under construction and you have to scrabble up rocks for a while (hand lines are a nice addition) then more steps. Tea at the top is great and so peaceful and beautiful on top. Well worth the hike! Route I took was great if you aren't parking as I went in near the Dragon Rocks Cold Spring and came out near Gushan Senior High School (plenty of parking at this location). Going this way I went up stairs and rocks and came down via a few steps but mostly a gradual slope road (old cement plant road), much preferred to going up the road and coming down the stairs and rocks. Good signage the whole way. Recommend taking a picture of the trail map when you go in.

Perfect place for the fans of wildlife. Heaven of hikers. The best part is, this is a good hiking place for beginners as well as experienced hikers.
Crowded, busy natural park with views everywhere.
You can find The Formosan rock macaque right this place !!!
