I bought the ticket at the Cultural Yacht Ticket Office in Zhan Erku. The cultural yacht can visit Kaohsiung Port and enjoy the skyline of Kaohsiung Port. It takes about 40-50 minutes to take a boat trip to the port, and there will be a guide for the scenery along the way. The detailed introduction of the staff is very interesting.

I took three trips in two days: Zhan Erku Dagang Parade, Zhan Erku to Hongmao Port and Round Trip, Hongmao Port Dagang Parade. The port tour from Zhan Erku takes a port channel, a port branch channel to a port outlet, and you can see the new Kaohsiung port buildings (the Eighth Five Building, the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, etc.), the mouth of the love river, the head of the post, and the longevity. Mountains, Qihoushan, Sun Yat-sen University and other areas in the early Kaohsiung Port. From Zhan Erku to Hongmao Port, take the main waterway of Kaohsiung Port back and forth, passing through the naval base, export processing zone, China National Petroleum Corporation, container center, Zhongzhou Ferry Port, Qianzhen Fishing Port and other places. In the patrol trip from Hongmao Port, in addition to the container center, you can see the core of Kaohsiung's heavy industries such as Dalin Power Plant, CNPC, Taiwan Shipbuilding, and China Steel. These three itineraries can take a full tour of Kaohsiung Port. A trip takes about forty to fifty minutes. The guide is vivid and detailed, and I have learned a lot about the docks and various ships. The two guides I encountered were excellent. (Although many tourists may not pay attention to it) I am not particularly interested in boats, but I took a hundred photos this time. Suggestions: 1. The information on the official website is a bit confusing. It will be easier for tourists to know in advance if you can attach a route diagram such as the promotional leaflet. 2. Similarly, there is a general map of Kaohsiung Port on board, which is very helpful for understanding the various ministries of the port area. If it can be used more, it may be more rewarding for passengers. 3. The design of the yacht itself allows passengers sitting on one side to look at only one side, but there are often things worth seeing on both sides, but this seems to be impossible. 4. Although forty to fifty minutes is not very long, if you sell drinks on the boat, or sell souvenirs on the boat and the ticket office, I wonder if it can increase revenue for the operation? To understand Taiwan’s modern industrial development, one must understand Kaohsiung, and to understand Kaohsiung, one must understand Kaohsiung Port. I highly recommend this itinerary.
