所以，在這裡隨時可以看到來往旗津的渡輪，還有進出高雄港的大輪船，每到傍晚時分，也有不少漁船進出此處。
對了，在此這裡也可以遠遠的看到八十五層大樓。
還有，位於鼓山哨船頭公園內的「西子灣遊客中心」，有著獨特的外觀造型，相當引人注目，儼然成為高雄港的重要地標之一。
在不遠處還有座人行觀景橋，可以俯瞰所有美景。
晚上，在此也可乘涼並欣賞美麗的夜景。
Diagonally across from Gushan Ferry Station is Shaochuantou Wharf. This is Shaochuantou Park, next to the entry channel of Kaohsiung Port No. 1 Port.
