現址為法興禪寺。於中華民國五十六年（1967）經國防部核准後啓建。

 The Kodama statue was demolished when Taiwan recovered after Japan's defeat in the Anti-Japanese War.
The present site is Faxing Temple. Construction started in the fifty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1967) after being approved by the Ministry of National Defense.
