Since its establishment in 2004, the New Thinking Humanistic Space has always been one of the well-known key art spaces in Kaohsiung. Upon my first visit, it was found that it was located on the second floor of the Pasadena French Restaurant in Kaohsiung Hedi Community. Later, I learned that New Idea Humanistic Space is Pasadena's related enterprise. For many years, New Thinking Humanity Space has upheld the business philosophy of "Sharing is beautiful", regularly inviting artists and creators from various fields to exhibit works, hoping to bring the taste of art appreciation into the daily life of the people. I came this time because of the solo exhibition "Image. Addition and Subtraction. Chen Shixian" by Chen Shixian, an image calligrapher born in Baihe, Tainan. Chen Shixian has been promoting image calligraphy for a long time, linking people and things in Taiwan, and his works have deep emotion and artistic conception. The new thinking humanistic space is mainly divided into two areas, front and back, connected by a long corridor in the middle. The exhibition space inside is not small, even if twenty people visit at the same time, it will not feel crowded. The layout is elegant and stylish, and the background music is also properly selected and just right. The reception staff explained clearly and kindly, and the experience of the whole visit was very good. Parking nearby is said to be convenient, and there are usually parking spaces on the Hedi Road next to the Love River. After the visit, you can also take a walk in the river bank park and enjoy the singing of insects and birds beside the Love River, dense forests, quiet in the city, a little renunciation, and a whole sense of relaxation and comfort.
