★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japanese food for Taiwanese taste buds. Food was quite oily, too much sauce and artificial flavours used. There was tons of mayonnaise on the prawn 'salad' which was just 5 prawns with no salad. The flame grilled steak fillet was impossible to chew and covered in terryaki sauce. Eel donburi was just eel coated in sauce on top of plain rice.
The menu isn't expensive compared to most Japanese places but it's pricy for what you get. Unfortunately quite a disappointment, as most of the reviews are positive. Maybe this place is more for local Taiwanese that haven't experienced the luxury of fancy Japanese cuisine.
