The lake is beautiful,great spot taking photos.Lots of ancient temples and buildings worth checking out if you walk along the bank.Nice place to appreciate Chinese culture and ancient architecture.
Although it would be helpful if Kaohsiung government could invest a little bit more to improve tourist experience.
The lake is bit smelly and lots of littering around lake. I wasn’t surprised since I did not see one single rubbish bin around lake.
Also the not connected to any MRT station or light rail. Foreign tourists apparently excluded from using city bike. Otherwise it would be wonderful if we could ride around such a beautiful lake,let alone tourist can venture through Kaohsiung city with city bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very close to the Lotus Lake, and also just across the road from HSR station / Xin zuoying station.
Good place for kids to run around.
Has a good climbing net and sand.
Bring your bucket and spade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have you seen the dragon boat? The days before lunar month of the fifth and the fifth day. The trainer do pratcice on the Lotus Pond. Except that, the view always beautiful.

I recommand u to walk along the lake. If the weather is fine.LOL
Nice wind and good view makes me feel good~~~~~
