★ ★ ★ ★ ★ best night market in kaohsiung. nice food. lots of food option. cheap for some but expensive for others like the brown sugar bubble tea. difference between 2 stores could be up to twd25. fried onion pancake with pepper and angel fried chicken. soya bean and barbequed squid. walking distance to the train station. so easy access.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the biggest night markets I've seen. Has both food and shopping/games. For food, the 天使鸡排 (angel fried chicken) is unmissable. Some of the best I've had. You'll see the lines! Also get the pearl iced tea nearby (not the same place). Everything else is pretty good, nothing groundbreaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaohsiung tourist guides all suggested Liuhe Night Market , but locals recommended this one instead and we weren't disappointed. Lots of incredible things to eat and a great vibe overall. It was full of energy and going strong around midnight on a Saturday.
