For public spa, separate by gender, naked Japanese style hot springs.

Hot spring is fantastic and the service as well, but the restaurant is too expensive and the food is not so great. Don't think it worth that much. (800-1000per person)

Travel there last weekday and have a good experience. Service and facilities are good and unexpectedly food is good as well. However location is too far away from Tainan spots and traffic is an issue.

I need to mention beforehand, foreigners are really having difficulties in making a room reservation. Though I and my wife were attracted to this hotel months ago, we got no method to make instant reservation for a tight time slot. We were asked to make reservation by phone instead. Well, it didn't make sense. And we therefore opted for another one. This time, we eventually made it by booking a room via travel agency. We were so glad that dinner was included as part of the package. We were pleased with all the things encountered after checking until we discovered we were served with a very special menu with a "great" choice, three options. But the other customers, I guess those booked directly with the hotel. We did pay a fair amount of money for the room, why the hotel had to classify their customers into different gradings? Being a customer, we were totally disappointed with the arrogant arrangement. We just felt we were the underprivileged. That's not all. They serve us disrespectfully for ignoring our call for the not-coming "wonderful meals". It was nearly half an hour later already. The waitress only claimed the food was being prepared. Ten more minutes later, we couldn't wait any longer and approached a middle-aged gentleman who seemed to be the manager. He didn't give me any spontaneous reply at all. But 20 minutes later, i.e. 50 minutes after we made an order, the food came. Clearly, we got no appetite any longer. We just left the food untouched. The seem-to-be manager did apologize when he saw us leaving, and claim that he order the kitchen to make the food right away after i've approached him. It seemed like I was the one to be responsible for the incident, let alone the ignorance of the waitress had shown me. Absurdly, those more privileged customers who arrived later than us, had finished their meals and even left before our "big feast" arrived.

It is located at the 1st floor of Yulan Syuan. My usual routine is to go the public spring bath and then will go to do my facial and body massage. For the public spring, women and men are separate. For woman side, it has 4 pools ( one is 37 Celsius and another is 42 Celsius, the rest is cold spring ). They also have a steam room and a sauna place. I really recommend the public spring place because it’s clean, very few ppl and fresh air. Unless you feel awkward being naked in a public place, I think it’s way better than renting a room. For Spa, Ms. Lee, manager of the Yulan Spa, is very sweet and professional. Her massage skill is amazing. I also love the facial product they use, it’s all very natural. This is a wonderful couples' spa retreat within 45 minutes drive from Kaohsiung, Taiwan's second largest city. It is definitely adult-oriented, with segregated men's and women's indoor spa facility as the centerpiece of the resort. The indoor spa is excellent, with clean and modern furnishings, sauna, steam room, and soaking pools of various temperature, some with massaging jet streams. Given the tropical climate, it makes sense that one side of the facility is open to the outside, with lush vegetation and the distinctive sound of tree frogs. We got a reasonably priced package with dinner & breakfast included. The set dinner with choice of entré and salad/seafood/desert bar was excellent. The children's activity room is the one spot in obvious need of renovation - but as noted, this is not a kid's resort anyway.

Nice hôtel with good hot spring for relaxing. Good food and perfect service. Clean and well organize. Like very much and was very satisfied with the actual special offer.
