★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 永安新港原先無寺廟，由村民各自奉祀神明，常舉行拜拜或往他處上香，因勞民傷財，台灣光復後首屆村長及地方有心人士有鑑於此，乃號召村民共同籌建新港宮，民國三十七年(1948)落成主祀五府千歲。今廟貌為六十五年八月重建完成。
There was no temple in Yongan Xingang. Villagers worshiped the gods themselves. They often worshipped or offered incense to other places. Because the laborers were hurting their wealth, the first village chief and local people interested in it after Taiwan ’s recovery have called for the villagers to jointly build the Xingang Palace. The year (1948) was completed to worship Chitose. The appearance of this temple was completed in August of 65 years.
