Fengshan Kaizhang Holy King Temple was first built in the 35th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1770) and was rebuilt for the last time in 1975 (AD 1975). It is a temple dedicated to the native god Kaizhang Chen Yuanguang, the native god of Zhangzhou, Fujian. Today, it is named together with Fengshan Shuangci Pavilion, Fengshan Longshan Temple, and Fengshan Chenghuang Temple. It is known as the "Fengshan Four Ancient Temples." The temple entrance archway can be said to be one of the symbolic landmarks in Fengshan area. In addition to the holy king of Kaizhang, the temple dedicated to the gods also enshrines the left side hall: General Fu Ren (Ou Wang), General Fu Yi (Lin Feng), General Fu Zhong ( Wu Zhongjun), the temple on the right: General Fu Zhi (Zeng Wen), General Fu Li (Weng Zuguang), General Fu Xin (Zong Gan Ni).
