彌勒山合天大道院、大雄寺的宗旨理念,以自然無為、運作道的本體,無宗教門戶之見,無富貴貧賤之別,更無國度與人種之別;如同天地滋潤眾生,日月無私照之精神,行平等布施。不因儒、釋、道、耶、回之名詞不同,起分別想產生對立,各宗教本是殊途同歸,應有教無類,促使人人言行達「合天」,彌勒菩薩之人間淨士能早日實現。 莊嚴的合天道場,時時回饋給十方有緣信眾,無論是接納單親子女,老人長短期在此修心養性,甚至染上惡息(酒、毒品)的青少年,或是有意出家常住在合天者,彌勒山均可提供一個清淨的道場,讓有緣眾生皆可再造人生,重新出發。以新的人生重回社會,服務人群。 彌勒山合天大道院、大雄寺目前佔地約十甲,一進彌勒山,便是一尊大慈大悲雲龍觀音,迎接來自十方有緣之眾生,順著環山道路而行,不久便可到達合天大道院之【慈氏大雄殿】,此殿建築莊嚴雄偉,媲美大陸紫禁城之「太和殿」,殿前有梅花池、日月池、登天聖橋,花木扶疏,池內錦鯉悠游其中。殿內安奉五聖佛(彌勒尊佛、釋迦牟尼佛、太上道祖、南海古佛、濟公活佛),及一般民間信仰之神祇,此殿係十方道場,接引各宗教有緣之信眾。 慈氏大雄殿三樓另有一殿【無極宮】,供奉瑤池金母、純陽帝君、關聖帝君,瑤池金母於台灣信徒眾多,因此常有來自全省各地的慈惠堂來此參香結緣。 另有一殿純屬佛教道場的【大雄寺】,此殿屬於佛教道場也是常住法師早晚課的地方,民國83年開始著手興建,民國八十七年農曆九月十二日安座開光,當初邀請中國佛教會理事長上淨下心長老、政府首長及宗教賢達共同主持,大雄寺大雄寶殿供奉有三寶佛(釋迦牟尼佛、藥師佛、阿彌陀佛)、文殊、普賢、觀音菩薩、彌勒菩薩、韋馱、伽藍菩薩,四週牆壁全由大陸進口青斗石所砌成,是其一大特色。大雄寺樓上有萬佛殿,殿內有漢白玉阿彌陀佛法相壹尊,另有壹萬尊之金身法相佈滿整個萬佛殿,更有世尊從降生人間至入涅槃之彩繪演化圖,甚是莊嚴。大雄寺正對面有一尊36尺高石雕,無砌接之地藏王菩薩,法相無比莊嚴,地藏王菩薩蓮花座前有九龍吐聖水,虔誠祈求感應無比。 彌勒山整個叢林道場的誕生,回溯至民國六十九年某一日,當初住持上悟下忠法師(大明)還是居士時,家中有一佛堂,一日佛菩薩顯化「合天」二字,然而合天是何意義?佛菩薩指示要大明法師全省寺院參訪便可明暸,因此曾向佛教高僧「廣欽上人」請益並皈依,賜法號【傳祥】;及親近「一貫道」寶光組,因此豁然開悟【合天】的真實義,發願興建一座不分宗教的叢林道場-------【合天大道院】。道場所有的硬體建設,百分之九十係由常住同修同心協力完成,其中辛苦鮮為人知,披星戴月,一天工作甚至達二十小時,不曾聽常住有絲毫抱怨,在悟忠法師(大明)身教重於言教的帶領之下,捨身命為眾生,師父時常告誡門下弟子,出了家,就是要將此身完全奉獻於眾生,要比在家眾更辛苦、更付出,出家不是要享福,更不是為名為利,如要享受、要追求名利,那就別出家。 彌勒山開方便法門,不論貧富,人人皆有能力廣植福田。道場的硬體設備如果只是出家眾自己使用,其所發揮的功能未免太小,鑑於此,彌勒山(合天大道院、大雄寺)回小向大,如同前面所述,舉凡想修心養性、接納失怙的子女、學校社團活動、寺院宮觀進香、各宗教法師賢達弘法------等,本寺(院)皆可提供最完善之服務,一切隨喜功德,遇有困難者,住持師父悟忠上人(大明宗師)慈悲,只要對方行動方便,一切完全免費,既然有這麼清淨的道場就該好好的住下去,他日再踏入社會有能力服務人群時,也算是報答佛恩。
