★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創立於CE 1929年 (昭和4年)的「旗山製冰廠」，由於旗山為通往山區門戶，在冰箱尚未普及的年代，冰塊屬於民生必需品，要到山區的人，會到冰廠採購冰塊保存食物和涼飲，冰廠以抽鼓山水脈的井水，經木炭、鵝卵石、細沙及紗網過濾，其水質幾乎沒有雜質，而能做出品質地清透宛如鑽石般的冰塊。
