Qishan Xizhou is a small place with banana farming. However, there is a large temple in Weizhou Palace that has become as famous as Qishan Tianhou Palace after more than 200 years. The century-old banana harvest and small and large people are safe. There is a banyan tree in front of the temple for more than 300 years, and it is listed on the old tree list of Kaohsiung City and built a shrine to worship.

It is the most magnificent temple in Xizhou. The temple has a history of more than 300 years. Weizhou Palace was founded during the Jiaqing period. At the beginning, a small temple was built in Xipudi, north of Bankozai. During the Xianfeng years, the small temple was destroyed due to flooding, and later moved to Shangzhou, where the Weizhou Palace is now located. Weizhou Palace is the oldest sacrifice temple in Xizhou area. It shares the most temples in Qishan area with Zimen Temple of Neimen and Tianhou Temple of Qishan. The temple is in front of the banyan tree, which has a history of 240 years and is listed as an old tree by the Kaohsiung County Government.

The 300-year-old banyan in the square in front of the palace was criticized for having too many lighting decorations, which destroyed the overall natural appearance of the old tree.
