★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大統芋冰城，早期是甲仙芋頭中盤商，對民國5、60年代的甲仙芋頭外銷台灣北部市場，貢獻良多，且功不可滅。
該店的甲仙第一台芋頭切片機，將芋頭切片之後即可製作芋酥片，當時還服務了同業，目前仍可使用，是古董級老機器了。
由於經營中盤商時累積了山區芋農人脈，所以進入甲仙的秋、冬山芋產季之後，就可以在該店限量買到道地的檳榔心山芋喔！
