要到三明火不要走青山巷，那條產業道路太久沒人走，太過荒廢。
要上去走環外道路，上山左手邊有個路口，有清楚路標，可以直接上到三明火，道路狀況比玉打山好，只是非常陡，陡上的路程很長，煞車要夠好。
Google地圖上沒有標示環外道路那條道路，要注意路標。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 走台21線來到那瑪夏區，左轉往三明火遇第一叉路在左轉，走水泥舖面的產道上山， 路上坑洞不少， 走起來不太舒服。 一直走上去後會碰到一處岔路右轉向上，就繼續直行可到。
三明火高雄自然湧出的天然火，位於瑪雅村，本位於青山山腰之間，原有三處終年不滅之火，相隔百公尺之遙，但經過賀伯颱風之後，現僅存一處。在三明火可觀那瑪夏區全貌及蜿蜒的楠梓仙溪
