Ma Gongcheng, also known as "Penghu City" and "Guangxu City", was the latest official city in Taiwan. It was completed in the 15th year of Guangxu (1889). There are six gates in Ma Gong City. Zhongxing Gate and Shun Cheng Gate are the only remaining relics of Ma Gong City. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Magong Port from the Shun Cheng Gate. However, since 2015, the city was closed for repairs. The project was led by the Penghu County Construction Office and the Cultural Bureau. A large number of tree plantings on the walls were cut down, and the project has been delayed for many years, showing a state of stagnation so far. Currently, Zhongshan Road is cut off. Tourists who rent cars and ride motorcycles need to make a detour to reach the Zhang Yusheng Memorial Hall and Pan Anbang’s former residence in Duxing Ten Village. Pedestrians crossing the Shuncheng Gate are a shortcut. From the perspective of photography, it is not suitable for panoramic shooting before completion. Only the first half of the city gate can be taken. The morning visit will be more suitable light. In the afternoon, it is much more difficult to shoot with backlighting and it is not easy to view the scene. (2018/6/1)

Great significance, little attention

There are not many left in Miyagi Castle, and all that can be seen are in the photo. The location of Google Map is Daximen, which is now the gate of military units. The bungalow in the photo was taken on the wall of the west side of Shun Chengmen, the only small wall that could go up. The east side entrance of the lover's road is just below the photo point of the bungalow.
