The Penghu Basalt Nature Reserve is located in Penghu County, Taiwan. It includes three uninhabited islands, Dinggou Island, Jishan Island and Xiaobaisha Island. The main conservation objects are the local special basalt landscapes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 玄石岩位於西嶼外垵村西側西埔頂上，知道的人非常少，是個貨真價實的旅遊秘境，多數來澎湖旅遊的遊客，在前往必去景點漁翁島燈塔之後，可能順道看一下外垵餌砲、三仙塔與外垵漁火，然後，就會匆匆離開西埔頂了。
玄石岩是谷歌地圖上新有的景點，它的位置就剛好在外垵餌砲對面的泥土小徑裡，從小徑往前約莫幾十公尺即可抵達斷崖邊，這裡有一大片玄武岩形成的海邊斷崖，背後是大片一望無際的外垵草原，前面是海天一色的台灣海峽，站在斷崖邊可以拍出許多美麗照片，只是，在追求美麗攝影的同時，要注意腳下的安全。
Xuanshiyan is located on the top of Xipu on the west side of Wai'an Village in Xiyu. Very few people know about it. It is a real tourist secret. Basalt Rock is a new scenic spot on Google Maps. Its location is just in the dirt path opposite the Wai'an Bait Cannon. From the trail, you can reach the edge of the cliff by about tens of meters. There is a large piece of basalt formed here. The cliff by the sea has a vast expanse of Wai’an grassland in the back and the Taiwan Strait in front of it. Standing on the edge of the cliff, you can take many beautiful photos. However, while pursuing beautiful photography, you must pay attention to the safety of your feet.
