Dongji Qiming Palace is an important belief on the island. It was founded in the 1800s and has been renovated many times before and after it has been restored to its present-day appearance. However, due to the exodus of the population, many foreigners from Dongji purchased land in Wujia, Kaohsiung, and built the "Penghu Dongji Qiming Palace" as a faith center for fellow foreigners, and reminded not to forget their roots.
