★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting natural phenomenon of tide. It's worth waiting between the ebb and high tide to experience the natural change. Hope the crowd wouldn't destroy the tidal ecosystem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a monthly scheduled released, please search for the timing before going. We went first time as it was closed. And after checking table we went again.
In Island the ocean sea water level reduces in the evening and again rises next day afternoon. If you want to visit this place then go only after 5PM but before 6PM or early morning after 8AM but before 11AM.
This is only for summers. I’m not sure about the timing and behaviour in the winter or rainy seasons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique destination with good management. Got car or bike parking space. Clean public toilet. Tourists information center. Ranger brief before open the gate. And head court to control capacity each time. Gate only open during right tide timing. Can see how the trail show to surface .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try to avoid to go there at midday. If it's a sunny day you might experience dizzyness from the extreme hot weather. Once you start walking to the small island there is no shadow for a while. Nearby there parking there is a resting area where you can chill and get refresh. Enjoy the nice breeze and...walk on water!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was too windy so the tide was high all day and we were unable to cross. I was very disappointed but understand the safety issue. Check out the weather forecast and the times for the tides before you visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The parting of the sea is a tourist attraction here in Penghu. This place is packed with people trying to get their picture taken. There is a wait as the sea has to safe for people to walk through. Nice experience and good place to bring your family. I recommend you stop by to experience when visiting Penghu.
