★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a ok place to kill some time. They should add more galleries. It's not a must visit in hualien but it's a ok place. I visited in a Saturday around noon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I came to the so-called "a-zone" on a weekday afternoon. This place, an abandoned brewery that's converted into public space, was occupied mostly by souvenir shops, decorated sparsely with a gallery or two, and visited by few locals and tourists. It turned out that all the live events were on weekends. If you don't come here when you visit Hualien, you won't have missed anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a great place for Hualien residents. Around 3 years ago, I came here with my wife. Mainly we came here to talk a walk, and surprisingly we discovered many things that interest us. Thus we keep coming here!
