主後一九八九年前,魯凱區會屬下各教會(十四間)仍屬於台灣基督長老教會總會排灣中會轄內的教會,不論其行政、人事、研發、教育、訓練、財務等權責都有棑灣中會行使監督與管理。算算魯凱族教會在排灣中會的帶領與養成計有三十九年的寒暑(主後1950年至1989年),其間我們當時常感念與永不忘懷我們稱為「母親」的排灣中會,所付出與給予的一切信心、愛心、智慧、力量,使得魯凱族教會方能發展出蓬勃的宣教異象與日新月異宣教策略,讓魯凱族教會在社會及時代轉變的過程中,形成具有潛力無限的台灣基督長老教會原住民族教會一員。 基於此,回顧在三十九年在排灣中會之依附夥伴的發展歷史裏,本魯凱族的教會、傳教師、長執幹部、會友們實在受到大大地肯定與重用,無論在事工上受派參與以及帶動,或在牧者牧會上盡忠持守口碑盡善,長執幹部更為模範與競相倣效,教勢發展也與日俱增而被選為觀摩與學習活教材。這一切都是因為上帝的恩典與賜福,透過排灣中會的教會與牧長相當的呵護與教導,因而魯凱族教會及信徒獲得成長的環境與發展空間,也是促進魯凱族教會及傳教師邁向具有自治自傳自立的能力條件之台灣原住民族教會。 另外,魯凱族教會的牧者以及會友們洞察到,為能在信仰上進步有加與其服事更為有力,當時的魯凱族傳教師們都有強烈的共識,就是必須要將聖經與聖詩翻譯為魯凱語,如此才能將魯凱族教會宣教的瓶頸打開,而發展出自己魯凱族教會或信徒的民族特性。恰好當時在主後一九七七年時,排灣中會也召開「教會幹部研習會」,並在會中訂定排灣中會屬下各教會分為八個區域之劃分(均分佈於屏東縣有八個山地鄉),以便推行事工。其中魯凱族十四間的教會被劃為一個區域,並開始推動區域性的事工方案。就在此時,魯凱族教會傳教師鑒於中會鼓勵與推動區域性的事工,為能有效的落實達成目標,於主後一九七七年秋季自行組織在魯凱族教會牧會的傳教師們(含排灣族、魯凱族的牧者)成立「魯凱同工會」,並達成幾點重要的共識;輪流在魯凱族教會舉辦每三個月定期聚會,以檢討魯凱族教會事工,交換牧會心得,討論魯凱教會的未來。且通過不同的聚會(如禁食通宵禱告會、青年夏冬令會、愛修會等)邀集魯凱族教會的幹部信徒們受造就訓練,無形中即為凝聚教會信仰與民族意識,共同塑成分擔苦難分享榮耀的生命共同體。 此時的普世教會與正值興起所謂第三世界的本色化神學思潮,而魯凱族教會便在其中抓住了這個機緣,教會的術語稱之「自覺契機」,既是經過了十年的交織交流以及互助互惠,親身體會魯凱族教會「自立自治自傳」的迫切性與價值意義,而且很快地在魯凱族各教會被認同與被要求。所以,在主後一九八八年之春節,佳暮教會在年度會員和會中提議建請中會正視魯凱族教會成立區會案,並無異議地通過提案至中會,並附加決議交由魯凱同工會研議。就在主後一九八八年之中會秋季議會中,正式列為議案討與表決通過接納成立魯凱區會組識案。 經過近二個月的籌備協調與相關法規資料之收集後,在主後一九八八年十月十九日假磐石教會召開臨時中會,以專案討論與議決魯凱區會成立大會,也訂定劃分條件與確定歸屬魯凱區會之教會、傳教師等名單,當然,也明訂於主後一九八九年十月二十一日為成立魯凱區會日期。這個日期就是「魯凱族群區會的成立紀念日」。 魯凱中會成立簡介 1.1989年10月21日魯凱族教會從排灣中會獨立成為「魯凱族群區會」。 2.1999年舉辦區會成立十週年慶。 3.2000年2月魯凱語聖詩(五百首)出版。 4.2001年9月8日魯凱語新約聖經出版。 5.2005年魯凱語舊約聖經翻譯計劃與實施。 6.2009年10月31日魯凱宣教60週年研討會訂定申請成立魯凱中會。 7.2009年11月15日魯凱宣教60週年慶暨八八水災重建關懷站成立感恩禮拜。 8.2010年4月6日總會第55屆通常年會議決准魯凱成立中會。 9.2010年4月10日召開魯凱中會第一屆春季會議。 10.2010年6月16日慶祝魯凱中會成立暨職場宣教宣誓大會。 文章及圖片來源:魯凱中會

This date is "the anniversary of the establishment of the Rukai Community Association." Introduction to the establishment of the Lu Kai Central Committee 1. On October 21, 1989, the Rukai Church became independent from the Paiwan Central Committee and became the "Rukai Community Conference." 2.
